Modify Households – Marriage, Divorce, Grown child

Households are a key feature of church admin. A person can’t be entered to the database without being in a household. households can have any number of people in them. you could have a household for everyone in your church if you wanted. but households are designed for families. as families make up the majority of a healthy church. in a household there must be a head of household. you can assign whoever you like to be head of household but if its a family the obvios person would be the father. when a child becomes an adult we always make a new household for that young adult. if the young adult still lives with his parents then you can keep his address the same and still give him a new household. when two adults get married we need to move the woman into the household of the man. and if two married people get a divorce you will want to make a new household for the woman so they will be in different households.
